Giving Back
Now more than ever we are called to do our part in the collective experiment we call this country. Freedoms are not self-sustaining, and liberty is not a birthright. We all have a role in both giving a hand up to those that but for the grace go I… AND in amplifying the stories of those in need and shining a light on critical issues like food insecurity and basic safety. Here you will find a collection of stories ranging from eating the rations of a Syrian refugee to raise funds so that vulnerable people might rebuild their lives in safety, a campaign I took on again in the summer of 2021, to hunger and food security and waste.

Or are you just hungry? My guess is that you are sitting at your computer or with your iPad and finishing off your Morning Joe & Scone. Or maybe it's a green smoothie. A Starbucks triple double frapalatte? Whatever it was or whenever you are reading this, I...
